Transparency

I’ve run into so many people throughout my life. Most seem to be different from one to the other, but similarities are starting to appear much clearer to me now. Those similarities are what I would call filters which are made by experiences in ones life; be it good, bad or funny experiences. But none the less it creates a filter that appears before their actual self. These filters are held as shields for people who are probably insecure, scared and shy. They’ve depended on these filters to protect them from feeling certain emotions. Continue Reading…

I was wrong

I use to be a negative all the time when I was little till just recently. I never cared to see the good side of anything. I chose to only see it my way and only my way. There are people, environments and things that I could blame about why I was like that. But it doesn’t hold any weight to me anymore. It’s just an excuse that I’d be creating. Continue Reading…

Get it and share it

I want to rid myself of life wasting, life consuming valueless behavior! What good does the television do to a life of fulfillment? What good does it do to enrich what the value of being a human is? What good lessons will I be able to teach my friends, family and maybe future children? Continue Reading…

Life isn’t complicated?

Life is meant to be simple and not complex. It becomes complicated when you decide to add more to it. You continue to breath, eat and sleep either way. Why would you want to complicate that any more or at all? I bet that whole primitive living back in the days was the way to go. Continue Reading…

Transparent

I like transparency and implement it to my life. I don’t mean like seeing through water. What I refer to is the idea. This lady has a good description of what I’m talking about. It is in spanish. But I’ll soon publish an english version of my point of view. Check it out.

Your Perspective

I see it for how it is and not what people tell me it should look like. That does not mean that I don’t want people to tell what there perspective is, I just don’t need them to tell me that is the only way it should be seen as. Getting other peoples perspective is beneficial, it helps to see it differently to your own perspective. If anything it might also help cement your perspective or question it. Continue Reading…

What I’m Missing

I feel like I’ve been missing a whole lot for a long time. Most of this goes back to 2001 when I first arrived in Houston, Texas from my hometown Brownsville, Texas. I’ve been removed from Brownsville for about 9 years and thats a lot to take for me. Some people would agree that there isn’t much in Brownsville to want to miss but to each there own. Continue Reading…

Sleep Priorities

I enjoy sleeping like most people, but its hard for me to actually do it consistently. What I mean by consistently is that I hardly get the right amount of sleep my body needs every night. It’s a different amount of hours every night. Sometimes its five hours or four hours. The only thing that is consistent is the time I wake up which is at six a.m. every morning. How strange it is that I can consistently wake up at the same time Monday through Friday and even on weekends when I wake up to catch some English Premier League soccer matches.  Continue Reading…

Getting my tooth pulled

So tomorrow morning I will be departing with my top right wisdom tooth. I was a bit sad Thursday afternoon when I had thought about departing with my tooth because it was the best economical decision I could make for the time being. I just knew that I was not going to cough up $700 dollars for the root canal procedure, which was the ideal choice since I didn’t want to depart with my tooth. Some people might think that it’s just a tooth and it probably is but in reality it’s part of me or my body. Continue Reading…
